Run through this list before you put tags on tables.

Before your first order

• Business details — name, address and the right Timezone in Settings → General.
• Handle — final, because printed codes use it.
• At least one menu — marked Visible, with products in its sections. See Build your menus.
• Products are Active and have a price. Hidden products never appear to customers.
• Taxes — every taxable product has a tax rate attached. A product with none is not taxed. See Set up taxes.
• Hours set, and at least one order type turned on in Settings → Fulfillment.
• Stripe shows Connected for Production.
• Notifications — turn on Email in Settings → Notifications so you hear about new orders.

Do a test run

1. Switch the header to Test mode and place an order on your storefront with a Stripe test card.
2. Open it under Orders, then Accept, Start preparing, Mark ready and Complete it — the customer gets a "ready" email when you mark it ready.
3. Switch back to Live when you are happy.

Print your tags

Create a tag for every table or seat, design a card in Templates, and use Download all to print them. See Tags and QR codes.
